Seeking therapy can feel like its own hurdle, so I strive to provide a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental environment for you to explore your unique therapy needs. My aim, as a therapist, is to support clients in learning to recognize and use their own passions, skills, and inner strengths so that when life presents challenges, you’ll feel prepared to face them. My practice is guided by creativity, compassion, openness, and an awareness of the individuality of our experiences.
I have seven years of experience providing trauma-informed care to a diverse range of clients and families across a variety of settings, including outpatient community mental health clinics (ages 4- older adults), adult residential care, and elementary and high schools. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, challenges specific to Autism Spectrum Disorders, and trauma-related issues. I have a particular interest in generational trauma, parenting issues related to trauma, and physiological responses to trauma. My practice is guided by my training in CBT and person-centered care and embraces a multitude of ways of communicating and healing, including talk, movement, writing, visual arts, music, and mindfulness.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy all of New England's beauty, usually with my adorable Australian shepherd, Scout, in tow. I love to kayak, swim, hike, and snowshoe. I also find great comfort in cooking a meal for friends and reading a good book.
Whether you’re seeking a neutral ear for self-exploration or a more directive experience to build coping skills-- we’ll work together to ensure you feel supported and capable in your therapy journey and beyond.
